Where Time Becomes Irrelevant

Imagine the Bloomsbury set arriving for a festive lunch. Candles lit, wine poured, cheese passed around, music in the background and conversation wandering wherever it pleases. Nobody in a hurry to leave. Nobody looking at the time.

A Table of Favourites

“Christmas is one of my favourite times of the year. It’s the one moment when everyone I love is gathered in one place, with a glass of champagne in hand and nowhere else to be.”

- Molly

It’s a time for family and friends, for the clink of glasses and the busy, happy chaos of getting the table ready. The best Christmases are never about getting everything right. They’re full of noise and laughter, with the people you love squeezed in around the table.

This is the feeling we wanted to capture with our new Christmas table linen: the long, slow lunch centred around creativity, passion and a love of craft (and of course delicious food).

Inspired by Charleston

Charleston, the Sussex farmhouse home of Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant and a gathering place for the Bloomsbury Group, has long been a source of inspiration for Molly.

Living nearby in Sussex, she’s been a regular visitor and the house has become a place she returns to again and again. Its earthy charm, jewel-toned interiors and joyful spirit and above all its love of pattern, colour and handmade things, run through this collection.

“Charleston is a place where creativity feels completely free. Its fearless use of colour, pattern and art has always inspired me, reminding me that the most beautiful interiors are those that tell a story and have the courage to be individual.”

- Molly

Her connection goes beyond inspiration. Molly has led workshops at Charleston and the two share a long-standing relationship built on a mutual love of craft, creativity and colour.

We’re delighted that the collection will also be available in Charleston’s own shop.

A Bloomsbury Inspired Christmas Table

Perfectly Imperfect

Block printing has never been about perfection. Every mark is made by hand, so no two are quite the same, and that gentle irregularity is what gives a pattern its life.

It’s the same spirit that fills Charleston: painted furniture, mismatched patterns and colour wherever you look. A home that was playful, experimental and always a little unexpected. We think a Christmas table should feel the same.

Two Colourways to Choose From

Our new Luna table runner comes in Rose/Red, while the Kite napkins come in two colourways:

Rose/Red: soft, warm and quietly festive

Red/Hot Pink: bold, bright and made for a party

Layer them together for a table that’s gloriously, unapologetically Bloomsbury.
