Trade Sales Manager

Molly Mahon is a British interiors and lifestyle brand known for its distinctive use of colour, pattern and hand block printing. Inspired by nature, travel and the enduring beauty of craftsmanship, we create fabrics, wallpapers and homewares designed to bring character, warmth and spirit into the home.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Trade Sales Manager to help strengthen existing customer relationships, develop new opportunities and champion the Molly Mahon brand within the interiors community.

The Role

This is a highly relationship-focused role, ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people, building connections and creating opportunities.

You will be responsible for nurturing our existing network of interior designers, decorators, architects and retail partners, while actively seeking new business opportunities. You will represent Molly Mahon at appointments, events and industry gatherings, becoming a trusted and knowledgeable ambassador for the brand.

This role combines sales, customer relationships, networking and brand representation, requiring someone who is commercially minded, proactive and genuinely passionate about interiors.

Key Responsibilities

Trade Sales & Business Development

  • Grow sales across our fabric, wallpaper and homeware collections.
  • Develop relationships with interior designers, architects, decorators and specifiers.
  • Identify and secure new trade accounts and project opportunities.
  • Follow up enquiries and quotations in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities and customer activity.

Customer Relationships

  • Build long-term relationships with existing trade customers.
  • Conduct regular customer visits across London and the South East.
  • Host appointments at our Sussex studio and other meeting locations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales journey.
  • Stay close to customer projects and proactively identify opportunities to support them.

Events & Brand Representation

  • Represent Molly Mahon at industry events, exhibitions and trade shows.
  • Organise and host designer breakfasts, lunches, workshops and product launches.
  • Deliver engaging presentations that communicate the Molly Mahon story, collections and values.
  • Act as a passionate advocate for craftsmanship, colour and design.

Market Awareness

  • Maintain an understanding of the interiors market and key industry developments.
  • Identify opportunities for collaborations, partnerships and hospitality projects.
  • Share customer feedback and market insights with the wider team.

About You

You are personable, confident and naturally skilled at building relationships and love a challenge.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience within interiors, textiles, wallpapers or luxury homewares.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach.
  • Confidence working independently and managing your own schedule.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Desirable

  • Experience in sales, account management or business development.
  • Existing relationships within the interior design community.
  • Experience hosting customer events and presentations.
  • A genuine passion for craftsmanship, interiors and design.

Freelance Shoot & Production Manager

Freelance, project-based role based in Sussex.

We are looking for a highly organised, hands-on freelance Shoot & Production Manager to help bring an upcoming Molly Mahon collection photoshoot to life.

The creative vision is complete, we now need someone to make it happen.

Responsibilities

  • Source props, furniture and styling pieces
  • Coordinate upholstery, paint and room preparation
  • Manage suppliers, logistics and timelines
  • Assist with transport, setup and shoot production

About You

  • Organised, practical and resourceful
  • A strong eye for interiors and detail
  • Happy to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in
  • Full driving licence essential
