The Role
This is a highly relationship-focused role, ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people, building connections and creating opportunities.
You will be responsible for nurturing our existing network of interior designers, decorators, architects and retail partners, while actively seeking new business opportunities. You will represent Molly Mahon at appointments, events and industry gatherings, becoming a trusted and knowledgeable ambassador for the brand.
This role combines sales, customer relationships, networking and brand representation, requiring someone who is commercially minded, proactive and genuinely passionate about interiors.
Key Responsibilities
Trade Sales & Business Development
- Grow sales across our fabric, wallpaper and homeware collections.
- Develop relationships with interior designers, architects, decorators and specifiers.
- Identify and secure new trade accounts and project opportunities.
- Follow up enquiries and quotations in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities and customer activity.
Customer Relationships
- Build long-term relationships with existing trade customers.
- Conduct regular customer visits across London and the South East.
- Host appointments at our Sussex studio and other meeting locations.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales journey.
- Stay close to customer projects and proactively identify opportunities to support them.
Events & Brand Representation
- Represent Molly Mahon at industry events, exhibitions and trade shows.
- Organise and host designer breakfasts, lunches, workshops and product launches.
- Deliver engaging presentations that communicate the Molly Mahon story, collections and values.
- Act as a passionate advocate for craftsmanship, colour and design.
Market Awareness
- Maintain an understanding of the interiors market and key industry developments.
- Identify opportunities for collaborations, partnerships and hospitality projects.
- Share customer feedback and market insights with the wider team.
